Review of the Movie Ghostbusters Beyond (2021) Young People and Children.
Large doses of nostalgia to conquer adults and young people and children. After decades of rumors and a reboot in 2016 with the MeToo label , more popular almost because of its controversial reception than for its cinematographic value itself, the film Ghostbusters Beyond will be released in theaters on December 3, 2021. New installment of a saga whose first film was released back in 1984, immediately becoming a worldwide phenomenon whose influence has crossed the borders of celluloid, becoming part of our popular culture. Here begins our review.

Synopsis
When a single mother and her two children arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original Ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.
Review of the movie Ghostbusters Beyond (2021)
Let us pay attention for a moment to the two fundamental problems of a film based on a profound nostalgia. In the first place, that it is generally practically impossible to meet the expectations of an audience that knows and loves the original product; and, secondly, that the self-imposed obligation to repeat schemes already hackneyed in the past and play with elements that go back to the reference films ends up engulfing the narrative structure.
In this sense, the film Ghostbusters Beyond (2021) gives us one of lime and one of sand, which should not be understood in any way as a demerit, since the role of living up to the undeniable classic of 1984 was raised, at least, from aúpa. The question was not so much if this latest installment would be swept away by a barrage of homesickness, but rather if they would be able to value new plots based on longing with a certain grace. And, in general terms, we could affirm that the bet has gone relatively well for them.
eighties nostalgia
Because if there is something that the script of this new production takes into account, it is an insistent search for balance in the enhancement of the key elements of the original story, from which it extracts certain threads through which to shape the conflict and thus establish to Ghostbusters Beyond as a direct sequel to the 1984 film. Precisely as a result of this, and despite not being an obstacle to understanding the development of this film, it is convenient to know the first installment because there are many concepts of it with presence here , especially as far as the third act is concerned.
Directing by Jason Reitman
The film Ghostbusters Beyond (2021) distills both Amblin spirit and ectoplasmic fluid, which places the narrative evolution of the film at the speed of the initiatory journey starring two teenagers who have been forced to leave their home in the city to go to live in a town in the middle of nowhere. The decision to give prominence to young people, although it delves into the objective of regenerating the fandom of the saga, strips the film of the irony and humorous restraint that its predecessors distilled. On the other hand, this is a film whose thematic idea necessarily orbits around the concept of family (it couldn't be less with Jason Reitman as director, son of Ivan Reitmanand, at the time, director of the deliveries of the 80), as well as teamwork and the inescapable trust in the other's decision-making.
The familiar faces headed by Paul Rudd
The need to give some plot fuel to the adult characters in the cast, such as Callie , the boys' mother and daughter of the original ghostbuster Egon Spengler , and Professor Grooberson , played by Carrie Coon and Paul Rudd respectively, forces the plots of the boys, true protagonists of all this, are weighed down by an excessive (and necessary) urgency when it comes to structuring the gears of the adventure itself, whose rhythm becomes a little too troubled just before facing the third act.
The young stars: Finn Wolfhard and Mckenna Grace
And, although both interpreters do a good job ( Paul Rudd in his line of the son-in-law that every mother wishes they had), in the youth section the cast of the film Ghostbusters Beyond (2021) does not disappoint either.
The well -known Finn Wolfhard , thanks to his role as Mike Wheeler in ' Stranger Things' , adequately defends his interpretation of the older teenage brother. While an unrecognizable Mckenna Grace embraces the role of the true protagonist of the film with solvency and rigor. The prolific and experienced fifteen-year-old actress whose work in various chapters of ' The Handmaid's Tale' or the film ' Maligno ' (James Wan, 2021) have made her work attract more and more attention from the industry, she executes with notes a Phoebe who works quite well as a lookalike of the character embodied at the time by Harold Ramis. With his interpretation, he manages to make the viewer empathize and take affection for this brainiac with difficulties in relating to young people his age.
Final opinion of the movie Ghostbusters Beyond (2021)
In summary, with the film Ghostbusters Beyond (2021) we are facing a proposal for adventures "of the lifetime". A fantastic family comedy that is as serious about making those viewers who join the saga enjoy again as it is about not disappointing lovers of the original films.
